We are having some brick slip/tiles fitted to an internal wall, which has been plastered. What is the best adhesive to use?

    Thanks

    Wall tile adhesive.

Hope the plaster if fully dry, usually allow around a month, otherwise they will come off, as they will if the plaster has been polished too much.
Would then need to prime first with SBR diluted.

Darn phone & most peeps point in with a proper mortar mix with a mortar gun, then go over with joint tool.

Is there any specific type of tile adhesive that is best to use?

Having a quick look at the various brick slips available, most go for a rapid set flexible wall tile adhesive.
Check with your supplier & see what they recommend.
Also mix your slips from 3, 4 or more boxes, as there can be sometimes very slight colour varitions when firing.
