    Hi all,

I am looking for a completely flush gas meter box as this is to fit down a side alley and a normal recessed one would not allow a wheelbarrow through.

There will be space to fit this as it will be fitted into the void of an old disused fireplace.

    Any help greatly appreciated.

Is this a new install and the gas metre hasn't yet been fitted???

you wont get a flush one, the gas main comes up the outside wall. They will not put the main inside/inside a wall.

    Hi
Not a new install just want the current position in the lounge in a box moved.

The pipe work going down the wall is fine just the protrusion of the box is a bit limiting.

Would it be possible to have a opening built in the wall bigger than the meter box and then fit the box in there? So the pipes are therefore not buried in the wall however the door will be flush with the wall? We have the entire fireplace that will be bricked in and two brick width wall.
