how wide should the foundation be for building a shed with a single wall made of concrete blocks. the shed is to be roughly 5.3Meteres by 3.6M.
im going down to 1M deep which i gather is appropriate with trees 2-3M away.please advice.
    thanks

The width is normally a minimum double of the brick/block work going on it, but I suspect you are using a mini digger to dig them out so you may end up with a 450mm wide trench unless then have a 300mm one, if so that will do.

By the way a metre deep foundation for a shed is over kill, 600mm will be more than enough.
