free advice

    without doubt screwfix is the place to come for advice on any trades, but supposing you're struggling to get an answer, or maybe there are conflicting answers, do any of you know of any more places for free avice, others I know are :

    I've heard that some resort to the "Good Lord" for free advice.................;)

    Not tried it myself to be honest but a swift, cool pint of something tasty usually makes things seem a lot clearer (not necessarily the case after a further 5 of the same though)

    Good luck though :confused:

    not heard of that one before Big Dunk, Is it free ? there seems to be some keen to get subcribers then flog em a DVD or downloads, getting good free advice is hard now, most people want to make bucks,
