i have plum tree, which was heavily pruned back last year. There is some new fruit forming.

I am looking for a product I can use to remove aphids from the tree without it affecting the fruit.

I know that the tree could have been washed down in winter using a winter wash product , before the growing season.

I've heard that if you spay then with a soapy water solution it deters them, I personally tolerate the little fellas, they don't eat much i know they're a bit unsightly but hey, I can talk, cut um some slack, ;)

As Mr Plum, diluted washing up liquid works for me, and keeps my hands soft and gentle...

i will give this a try.

I think I may plant a pear tree in November as well, one with a quince C rootstock, so doesn't get too big.
