    Gas pipe behind oven
Hello I need to change my electric oven to a new one.
There is the pipe gas to feed the hob at the back ot the oven unit. If I fit a single oven that is 500mm deep, there will be a gap of 40mm between the oven and the gas pipe. Would this be enough?

If 40mm isn't good enough, Any way to have something like a cover installed on the pipe to protect it from the heat supplied by the oven.

    Many Thanks
    Florent

That's fine Florent. You're lucky to have that much gap, a lot of ovens almost reach the wall these days and you have to be a bit ingenious to get the pipe to miss :)
