How ridiculous that Rangers will have to play in the 3rd Division this coming season! Surely, it's enough that they have the Revenue bill to settle, without this humiliating treatment by the SFL/SFA? And they talk of stripping Rangers of their titles and trophies - as if no one hence would remember their great contibution to Scottish football.......... So, they were caught fiddling the taxman? They're not the only ones to do so: SFA officials, English and Scottish MP's, bankers, solicitors, estate agents, Scottish electricians etc etc.......... Oh well, at least it will improve the attendances at 3rd Division venues. The last time this happened on such a scale was when my team, MUFC set alight to the English 2nd Division in those dark old days never to be forgotten...... Lucia.
Quite agree Lucy. The penalties applied by the taxman should have been enough. Sounds like nothing more than petty jealousy by the other football teams in the SFA. As for the trophies, did the tax fiddling contribute to any of the trophies they won? Simple answer NO it did not.
