Hi all, we're looking to add a splashback and upstands to our kitchen. However one of the walls which we'd be putting an upstand on has a concave curve to it. It looks to be about 8mm curving inwards at the middle point. The width is just over a metre. Can we just fill it with extra sealant? Or will the fact it's not touching the wall all the way along cause problems?

Thanks in advance for any advice!

It's probably not a problem if you don't mind what it looks like or you could have it skimmed.
