Gas engineer if it's leaking condensate it's leaking combustion gasses

  3. Blimey - the flue is leaking from its outside skin?

The exhaust - and any condensate - is usually in the inner pipe section, so how the 'ell is that getting to the intake?

Could it be driving rain hitting the flue?

Whatever the cause, it's needs a GasSafe cove.

Its dripping from the join in the flue that takes the condensate out through the wall, directly above the access panel. The flue is boxed in.

Picture?? Only to see but still needs a Gas Safe Registered Engineer to repair it on a gas appliance

  6. Even more confused.

What size is this flue - around 3" diameter or around 6" or even - dare I ask - around 1 "?

Are there two separate flue pipes exiting your exterior wall?

Or chust one 'normal' one which has a slightly longer pipe in t'middle (around 3" dia) surrounded by a larger pipe or about 6" dia?

Is it the 3/4" diameter condensate drain and not the flue??
