Glue Celotex To Plasterboard

    will screwfix grab adhesive the solvent one glue celotex to a plaster board wall in my garage. please

    If the celotex is foil backed, it will probably stick to the foil.

    What's your end goal, is the plasterboard going on top of the celotex, what's the wall made from, can you not use fixing the join the two together through into the wall.

    internal wall has been built to extend room into garage a bit further, they only used loft insulation in it, I want to bolster it up on the garage side, I don't know where the wood joists are, it can be lft silver showing but needs fixing to the board

    I have think POLYURETHANE, non foaming adhesive is what you'd need for that type of application. I stripped a piece of insulated plaster board and there is tiny spots of glue bonding the plasterboard to the foil backed insulation.
