So, as a thought here.

We have all heard about a few teachers who have given too much private education.

Does that mean those in the church who have done similar, are excused? Or better because they are not bound by the same legislation? Or just doing gods work as they say that is what they do?

Sidetracking the issue doesnt make your side better in my opinion. It makes it worse surely, because of their "beliefs" ?

No doubt you can educate me on this ?

 

I quite like reading DA's posts and imagine him to be a genuine man.

I've only just seen this post. Very interesting. It amazes me how so many people say being a Christian (or any religion) is a sort of weakness. I got to the age of 44 before I decided to do a thing called the Alpha Course, that was twenty years ago and it changed my life forever. My faith is the absolute centre of my life, and rather than being weak it makes me strong. It's like someone said "you can't prove God but you can experience him". I have and I wouldn't swap that for anything! Good on you for having the guts to post this in the first place.

 

Have you read this whole thread though as opposed to this singular post, sir? If you have (at over 2000 posts?!), then by now I take my hat off to you....

 

You can keep your hat on! I was just commenting in support of, and agreement with the OP, but knowing how the posts on religion go I'll refrain from posting any more because I'll get dizzy on the roundabout!!
