I am looking for a piece of matt grey chipboard or furniture board 1000mm x 600mm - preferably in the Bournemouth/Southampton area. Melamine or contiboard will do - as will matt black. (I will need edging strip as well.)There was a time when any of the large outlets - B&Q, Wickes, etc. sold furniture board in grey and black. I can't find either now. I want to put a new top on a computer table. I have searched the internet for days. Does anyone know of an outlet that stocks this? Many thanks.
Find a local bespoke wardrobe or bathroom manufacturer. They will have MDF in various thicknesses that they cut to size and then place a finishing skin over the top which is glued, and vacuum formed to the board.
