Received an email from a tool supplier, at the top of the flyer was this: Ok, it may charge batteries but £190 for a site radio? when you can buy several power tools that actual do the work. Not sure who is more bonkers the manufacturers or the people that have the money to burn on them ?
Load of carp ain't it?! Just get an old ghetto blaster from the boot and put a placcy bag over it . IP54...who gives a *hit!!
Bluetooth - though I think there must be a new breed of posh builders coming through who need to have toys like this ...
its a lovely bit of kit, very loud, good sound, Bluetooth, dab, waterproof compartment to put your mob in while its charging it. having a radio is as important as any of my tools, its only money after all lol
Pha, can see why they didn't take off - doesn't even make cappuccino let alone have Blue tooth to let the guy know when the drinks are ready Any self respecting builder you can't be seen drinking a mug of tea these days - you just wouldn't look cool would you
as i seem to be the only one on here to have brought one of these tough radios, i just as well confess to have got a hot jacket, no not a spud but a work coat powered by one my power tool batteries, any one else got one, i love mine
I got one of those for the job I'm doing at the moment, and it's a cracking little radio. Why I would add an extra £100+ to the price for DeWalt to add a roll cage and some bright yellow plastic I don't know.
