A friend has inherited a flat built in the 50s, which has metal door frames and architrave. The shell (at least the floor and ceiling) is concrete.

The wiring is probably original and there is no central heating.

What options would you guys reccomend to fitting these in. I was thinking maybe micro-bore heating and this could be run in new skirting, similarly the wiring? Or maybe dry line the walls to cover theses new services?

    Advice would be much appreciated.

    Thanks, Steve

When we do these we normally batten out the ceiling and then re-board over, this allows cables and pipework to be hidden above newly installed ceilings. If your fully redoing the flat out then yes i would suggest dry lining the walls and concealling services inside!!
