Heating controls

    i have a bungalow devided into 2 dwellings the oil fired central heating does the 2 dwellings from one controller can I add a 2nd controller in 2nd dwelling if so any advice please

    Yes you can but you would need to add zone valves to make each system independant of each other and possibly slight alteration of the pipework. These would need to be sited somewhere near the boiler but without seeing your system layout its hard to give you specifics.
    If its a real option for you to do it get a few local guys to give you a quote. I would imagine a days labour plus about £200.00 to £250.00 for parts

    the problem would be charging the tenants for running costs, I can't imagine how you would measure how much fuel each dwelling was using, :confused:
