Help! Has anyone ever demolished ground floor on a terrace to create drive to the back of house ?

    Well, as long as you think the LA's objections are lame and you don't believe it'll damage the character of the terrace, I reckon you're good to go.

    Not sure why you'd bother even asking them - chust get stuck in.

    And if they ask why you want to do it, just express confusion and consternation at the oddness of it having aroused such curiosity...

    Lol, I'm not against planning they have a role to play but homeowners have a right to enjoy their property, they seem to apply sometimes odd and unfair rules to individuals , but relax them when corporations or local authorities want to do something, I've experienced their corruption first hand.
