I keep stumbling

  1. across this when I idly search PooTube for music.

I can't go past it without a listen.

The clumsy preamble. The painful awkward fumbling for the right 'harp'. He looks like a down and out. A bum.

Even tho' I know what's coming, t'hairs on t'back of my neck tingle each time that first chord strikes.

Now, even I am not convinced that we are not the same person... :)

This chap is similarly dishevelled, but has much the same effect:

Och, you're a much bigger leftie than me ;)

Mind you, the young guitarist in my band has a similar effect when he goes 'off on one'. I've been playing for 40 years and he simply astonishes me. He's only 22, as tall as me, and much better looking... The swine...

  7. Now that is impressive - he's in full control of his geetar, and adds his own touches and flavour without over-egging*. A difficult balance (you only have to look at other renditions of L'il Wing...)

Mind you, you could lose a couple of kgs, mate... :p

(* Ok, a wee bit over-egging at times... But when you have that genuine talent, it must be hard not to )

Enjoy having that young lad in your band.

He's not going to be with you very long ;).

That is for certain. But it's cool to have him on-board in the interim.
