Hello, need a bit of help. First off I have a good knowledge of domestic electrical circuits however I am not an electrician. Last year I knocked my dining room & original kitchen into one large kitchen. As there where two light fittings & to switches, instead of lifting floorboards upstairs and rewiring. I decided to install 2 faceplate PIR sensors and 2 chrome 6 GU10 fittings. I have a few questions. The faceplate PIR sensors only work if halogen GU10 bulbs are installed, why is this? I have tried 5 LED 1 halogen, which works but makes the PIR buzz. Is there a faceplate style PIR that is compatible with LEDS? Products: Green I 1 channel PIR dimmer www.greeni-switches.com
It actually says on the back of the switch that its 60 to 300 watts, your 6 led bulbs are less than 60 watts together.
Green i state led compatiable. https://www.uk-automation.co.uk/green-i-pir-energy-saving-movement-sensor-switch/
