I want a neff induction hob fitted above a neff built under double oven. The installation diagram from the net stipulates a 50mm worktop, mine is 40mm. If I drop the oven 10mm will this be sufficient? Is there such a thing as a 50mm worktop? A magazine (bedrooms, kitchens, bathrooms) I read the other day said that there should be a 50mm gap between the hob and the top of the oven. This would mean a very low installation of the oven. I am totally confused and don't want to spend a significant amount of money and not get what I want.

Similar problem. My customer bought a Bosch Induction hob and double oven. Quartz worktop. It doesn't fit, not enough clearance. The company are willing to take the oven back but does anyone know of a double oven which has enough built in space to cope with the hob?
