Thinking of having the above installed, but all the kit i have viewed seems to come with a 3 pin plug to power it up.
i want to be able to pull the cord switch and hey presto my 4 recessed lights and the led's all come on together, then with the aid of the ir remote iam able to change the colour of the led display, how is this achieved ?
    Thanks

If the bath panel is screwed put the plug and socket under the bath.. feed the socket off a pull cord. Feed that off the lighting circuit or a fuse connection unit.
Only issue is that the lights need to be zone 2 compliant to be installed in zone 2.
Also you'd need to check the remote would work through the bath panel.

I'm assuming that you're on about putting plinth lights in the side of the bath.

Why would anyone want colour changing leds in the bathroom?

Exactly JP, they cause enough trouble on a space ship.
