Insulating and existing sloping roof?

  1. "have to admit that we got a man in to do the plaster / plasterboard..."

Well, that's taken the shine off it a bit :p.

Only kidding - not worth the cost and hassle of getting everything you'd need for such a small area. 'Twas a good call to get in a pro for that.

And you can now look forward to the time when you will be doing the plastering yourself too... ;)

    Hi Fred
I’m about to do the same as you when you insulated your sloping ceiling. Just wondering if you’ve had any issues with condensation since. I’m not sure if I should take the existing plasterboard down so that the back of the celotex is in the loft?
    Thanks
    Steve

No problems at all. Just be careful to get full thickness of Celotex a good the whole surface and foam up any gaps and joint lines. Really pleased with it.
