Some of the 15mm 90 degree bends in the crawl space under my lounge floor have been formed by bending the pipe into a curve. I need to install 25mm wall thickness insulation which won't go round the pipe nice and tight. Before I plough on and regret it, any advice on how to do this properly please?
You can put multiple cuts part way through insulation to get around the radius & tape or use cable ties to hold in in place, then I would over wrap with Felt Pipe Insulation Wrap, comes in 7 mtr rolls, TS stock it. There is also spiral wrap a foil insulation which can be wrapped around the pipe or use as an over wrap. http://www.screwfix.com/p/spiral-wrap-x-50mm-x-7-5m/62194?dclid=CI7cof62idQCFVg-Gwod24cJdw
