Have and external stop tap, used some Telebeam offcut had to make a box. As isolation valve is located at bottom of stairs wanted to make something to protect it in case of damage.

Isolation valve for stop tap, there is a double check valve fitted before this. Also fitted another full lever valve where supply taken from mains.

Cover fitted, opening allows enough space for handle to be operated. Cover was mitered at bottom to blend in to skirting.

Finished cover with lid which just pushes in and stay in place with friction.

I've made one for the outside as well, just need to remove the screw.

Took a while to make it, used stixall to glue the pieces together.

Still got a section left so thinking of making something else...

Neat job:). It looks like an electrical enclosure.

What did you use to cut the telebeam?

Used an angle grinder with thin metal cutting blade. think its the stainless steel type 1mm thin. Quite thick aluminum plate maybe 6mm thick. May spray it later on.
