   Hi
   
   I use a jerry can to fill my generator with diesel. Can I just use this for filling with petrol to fill up my mower, or would cross contination be to much.

   Put a drop of petrol in first, swill it around and tip out, should be okay.

   i have done what cotswold said and not had a problem but i now have 3 or 4 cans  for the sake of just over a fiver i dont see the point in risking it   1 for diesel i for unleaded and 1 for unleaded and 2 stroke
