First time owning a router. Where is the collect supposed to go? So that i can use the bit?
The instructions are not very clear

Routers are very, very dangerous tools. TBH if you can't work this out then probably you should hold off from using it until you have watched some videos or taken some training

    Wise words.

And another danger is overtightening the collect & not installing cutter fully, the router is up there with circular saws /table saws for dangerous tools.
AND regardless of the power tool unplug it, before making any adjustments to it.

There are many router couses around the UK, Yandles, Wealdens are just a couple.

There are 2 & 3 day courses around as well, Peter Sefton Furniture School is one that runs them.

Slightly wandering, but still router related, are Woodrat courses, the woodrat being a brilliant tool for the router, & takes routing to a whole new level.:)
