    Hi

Can anyone offer advice on how to join 2 worktops at about 110 degrees.

worktop hasn't been chosen yet, but is likely to be a laminate due to budget constraints.

I was originally thinking of butting a square edge laminate but have been put off these as the front edge may fail.

Would it be best to do the female masons mitre as normal, offer up the male side and mark it. then clamp the jig as firm as possible to router out the male?

Or does anyone know of an affordable (cheap sub 1000) granite/quartz supplier in london for 1 x3m, 2x2m worktops?
    Any suggestions welcome. many thanks

If your not confident to do the masons mitre, why not cut both ends diagonally at approx 55deg and butt them together.

  4. If you only angle one half of the masons mitre, then one edge will be longer than the other & the round edge at the front won't match each other.

If your not confident, then get someone in for half a day to the job, might prevent a lot of grief.
