Have a chainsaw ( Titan, Electric) which when left with chainsaw oil in and on a level surface always leaks the oil onto the workbench. Is this a common problem?

It seems to be for you. It could be that the automatic lubrication system is just an oil tank that drips.

Thanks Chippie but the outlet for the oil to the chain is at the top of the tank so unless it's some kind of siphonage it still shouldn't be coming out.
    Generally mystified!

Probably got a pipe at the bottom that comes from a pump, and that may be leaking from the seal.

    Mr. HandyAndy - Really

    Thanks HandyAndy
As it's under guarantee I'm not willing to open the casing as no doubt that would void the guarantee. I've had an email back from the Screwfix technical people so I'll proceed down that route just now. I was hoping that this was a common problem which was simple to sort out. Ah well!
