They are available in Metal AMD3.

You never know, Screwfix might want to stock these after all the positive comments.

    Nice Job!.

The Lumo Board is battery powered and is a cost effective way to offer light to the end user.

The Battery is a MN21 and only draws the power when the lid is open. This battery is also easily replaced by the end user and the Lumo feature is no extra cost of the board.

I just use an eml fitting in intake cupboard - same as what Jit has/does. Blow all that on board lighting up the db lark.

Funny thing is haven't had a substantial power cut for what some twenty years or so - most of them last for seconds while the board throw a lever or whatever - and that is very rare also.

And what about the blow up dolls right in the corner?

  7. Fitted a small CPN board a few years back for a temporary supply.
Was really glad to put it where it belonged a month later, in the skip.
It was a load of absolute rubbish.

Mind if you if the db had flashing leds and a tune generator then it might be better. Every time you open the lid the leds flash and a different tune plays (you could have Christmas tunes for Christmas) so one day you open the lid and Jingle Bells plays, and then next day you open the lid We Wish You A Merry Christmas plays and so on - would make a great party piece..all get lashed up round the db, beats tv any day.

If it played a tune when the power was off it would be more useful.
