I have a tall (12ft) kids playtower that I need to site on my sloping lawn.

I have dug a footing for it and started to fill it with sub-base from B&Q.
What is the best way to get it all level so that I could sit the playhiouse on it?

Once it is sitting level, I intend to dig down at each corner and post-crete in some posts that I will then bolt to the structure.

Picture attached - it's not too obvious that it's a slope, but it slops front to back.

Use proper concrete mix for the posts.

    Pre drill posts and tower.

Set posts in level and at correct height to suit the surrounding ground, (in proper concrete, not post mix)

Offer up tower and bolt in place.

why is proper concrete better than postmix?

Because its mixed wet before being put in the hole, its will be stronger mix and its cheaper.

    Level or compact.??

Levelling is as easy as using a sprite level.

Compacting is best done with a plate vibrator, but for this area hiring one would be expensive.

You could wet the MOT Type 1 and compact it with a board cabletied to a heavy hammer and hammer it down, wetting it helps it compact.
