There's only one person on a wind up, and its acca...

I'm sure (fairly anyway) that a NAPIT member could have such a lack of understanding about so many issues..

If however the lack of knowledge is a reality, I have heard that the NAPIT telephone help line is quite good.

I should of put 'wouldn't'.. instead of 'could'

    But then again....

Ur correct it is the same job, first of all the customers own lights were not for outdoor use and thn i went on holiday! Wether i plug this harness into a socket or hardwire it into a fused outlet is hardly an issue...im the one with loads of work btw,and X i did call Napit and they say it aint a problem so stop being so high and mighty....:)

    Moi ?

I'm just pointing out that there is an issue with your line of reasoning in this matter and with some others...
Think about it and sort it... or ignore it, I care not.

Im ot ignoring it X,its just u seem to be cryptic and dont say exactly wat is wrong with my method, yes an extra socket wud be ideal but rightly or wrongly i have already fitted a switched fuse outlet and want to utilise it.Tell me what is specifically wrong,or the broken regs and i will concede...if not theres no need to make insinuations into my professionalism which i take seriously...:)

I'm glad I now have your full attention..

"All harnesses have electrical insulation rating Class II (double insulated)"

"All rubber festoon harnesses are fitted with a 2P+E BS60309, IP44 rated plug"

So if you remove the fitted plug and then convert the
to become fixed wiring... what happens ?

I guess u have compromised the integrety of the harness, but me fused outlet is ip 66 and i will use same fuse...or have i missed the point again....?:)
