Hi Folks, This weekend I intend to put flooring down in my attic. I am looking to buy afew of these floor packs from homebase. http://www.homebase.co.uk/webapp/wc...49207&c_3=3|cat_14113517|Loft+Boards|35876259 I am looking to do this properly so I am looking for a saw. I don't particularly want to have to manually saw chipboard so I am asking what is the best saw for this job. Is it a Mitre or Circular?
Definitely get a spare blade as said chipboard blunts them quick, unless of course you're not laying that much down. Personally I wouldn't waste 100notes on a green bosch saw like the one linked, you can get a dewalt for the same money http://www.screwfix.com/p/dewalt-d23620-gb-1150w-184mm-circular-saw-240v/58155 which imo would outlast a green bosch ( blue bosch stuff is completely different) however that's if you even want to spend that much on one, if it's only for this and you don't think you'll have much use afterwards you can pick one up for half the price http://www.screwfix.com/p/evolution-stealth-1b-1200w-185mm-circular-saw-240v/13178 which would still do the job fine, but not the sort of thing you'd want to rely on for years to come.
