    I grew some tomatoes :)

  2. Pick them now and put them in a bowl with some bananas nearby and they will soon ripen !

    Thanks for the tip :) thats something I've learnt today! :)

    And I can make a banana loaf with the bananas coz really ripe ones are best for that. :)

    I didn't know about the banana tip, but then again I'm rubbish at gardening, I even have Astro turf.:p:p:p

    Bananas give off a pherome or something that makes fruit ripen or over ripen so should always be stored away from the fruit bowl.:)

    I'm gonna use the banana trick and buy some pears. I like my pears really ripe and warmed :) with really cold cream and just a slight hint of Cinnamon.

    See your BBQ there Phil. It bet you have used yours as much as we have this Summer :(, but lovely low maintenance garden. :)

    I've BBQed my Sunday roast chicken for the last 2 weeks, I think they were the only 2 days it hasn't rained.

    Garden was finished a couple of years ago so it has had some use.:)
