Looking for a new workbench

Discussion in 'Carpenters' Talk' started by London mike 61, Nov 17, 2014.

  1. Hi, all
I'm in the market to buy a new work bench because my old B&D one is a bit knackered ( it must be 20 plus years old ) having given loyal service I now use it as a stand to use when doing the odd bit of plastering.

Anyhow, I was looking at the Keter bench at screw fix and wondered if anyone on here has used one and what are they like, are they reasonably sturdy for DIY use and if you had to lay a board on top of the bench to cut, do the clamps get in the way or do they fold or something?

Please give your honest thoughts and comments

    Thanks in advance
    Mike

London, a mate of mine had the Keter from Screwfix, it was soooo good I bought one! excellent bit of kit and well worth the money.

  3. Thanks **, Ive had a look on a few YouTube vids and it looks worth a go.

It might end up as a early Christmas present!
