If you are doing a wet room or a shower would this AquaDefense be all you need to put on new plaster to waterproof it all before tiling? It is fresh plaster but a few months old now but does it need priming before using the AquaDefense? ta
I've never used it, I use the other type of Mapei tanking. Best read the instructions, ask in-store, or ring Mapei technical.
It may be a good idea to wire brush walls before applying aqua defence.I presume you are doing the work yourself.Use a cement based adhesive,slow set flexi will do the trick.Do not stick the tile spacers into tiles use them so you can retrieve them when tiles are dry ,for perfect perimeter cuts try the tile clip pro over on ebay.
