    be sacked or not.

my view is yes she should be, she claimed for a house she didn't live in, she moved her parents in, she only has to pay back just under £6000.00 of the esimated £45000.00 she claimed and she deliberately tried to hide information from the panel investigating her.

  2. Let me think about this for a mo...

    Yes - she so should.

why should she go, she's done nothing wrong, even the independent panel of PMs have said she's done nothing wrong

PMs like her will be a great asset during the next general election, she made such a great job of dealing with the West Coast rail franchise, in much the same manner as that lovely Mr Gove is sorting out the education system

I think she should be made to pay back in full, all money claimed for this house. and barred from all future expense claims for 5 yrs (if she should be re-elected at the next GE) All of her accounts for how long she's been an MP should be publicly examined with a fine tooth comb.

Anyway, I honestly believe it's time the "second home" situation is looked at. Let them build a hostel in central London for MP's from the further reaches of the HoC. Something like a nice hotel room (not too large and not cramped) This would stop the need for them to have second homes,,, and will stop MP's "flipping " properties when it comes to making vast profits on them (and so avoiding CGT on the property. ;)

This second home game is a long overdue perk that should be got read of, lots of people work in London who live outside it, do they get second home, NO, do they get expenses for hotels, NO, can they claim back rail fares, petrol/parking costs, NO, (unless they work in banking) so why should MPs.
It's time MPs stopped thinking that their wages are their savings and any expense is a claimable cost.

Basically it is theft and they should be treated like a thief.

The courts should be bursting at the seams with fraud cases like this. Those responsible for the Royal Mail sell off and all the other scams we have seen committed by those in power should end as fraud trials. Those who steal our money and give it to themselves and their mates; the likes of the BBC, Government, the EU and Banks are clearly centres of corruption who repeatedly operate outside the law with impunity.

A panel of MP's found her innocent of any wrong doing?? Well then... case closed... again.... now pay your taxes we need more!

Ian duncan smith was on the Andrew marr show this morning, he was supposed to be making a big thing about benefit cheats and how the government are going to get tough on them, he was advised to tone it down in the light of the Maria miller scandal, you couldn't make it up as to how much these cheating dirty pieces of **** take all of us for a ride, o how I wish we were more like the French sometimes. (well not really but at least they stand up for their rights).

Well she's resigned or should that be pushed.

Unbelievably she could get a £17000.00 pay off, she's been advised not to take it, time will tell if she is just a greedy MP or if she has any Morales.
