    Hi

We recently fitted a new bathroom with anti-slip matt finish porcelain tiles as we have a wet room. Over the last few months we a number of marks and stains appear - White/cloud like and also a few left over adhesive marks.

We have tried steam cleaning and heavy cleaning fluid also plus scrubbing etc... Nothing is working. The tiles are black so showing everything.

    Any suggestions??

    Thanks all

I read this and thought what a shame :( all that money spent and must be so annoying to be getting white showing up on black tiles.
I can't help coz I'm useless  I tried to find out but smiley-confused013.gif I'm sure kiab and several others will definitely have an answer though so stay tuned.

Give them a bit more info and maybe some pics if you can :)

You say they "appeared". How long after the floor being laid did they start to appear?
What "heavy cleaning fluids" have you been using on the tiles?
Did you lay the floor yourself?
    Any info on the grouting?

Hope the others can help. Be lovely to know you've managed to get rid of the stains.
Have a good bank holiday :)

    Would you say limescale?

If so, could try a limescale remover(not harpic or bleach with limescale remover), but one that you might use in a kettle or steam iron. I don't know the porosity of the tiles, or whether the liquid would damage, so explore first.

Too short a time surely? And that doesn't appear cloud like
    C'mon Andy. Dig deeper :(

May not be limescale, but surprising how quickly it can stain.

Ever washed up, and before you had time to dry up, your Pyrex® dishes have watermarks(limescale) on them? Luckily, they are glass so not a problem.

Let's rule out grouting. If they have been in there with steam cleaners disturbing grouting for instance. Would grouting stuff stain and not budge? Yes or no

I'm half wondering if they have used these "heavy duty" cleaners they mentioned to remove adhesive and the cleaners have produced a bigger problem?

Sorry to talk about you like your not here op :( but your not here :)

You may have a very good point, especially if they contained a lot of bleach.

I think its a strong possibility  but I have been known to be wrong
