When using RCBO's to EN 61009-1, should I be recording max permitted ZS from table 41.5 ie 1667 ohms for all circuits under 32A?

Only if it's a TT system.

That's what I thought, but looking through the new book it directed me to 41.5. Ah, I see what I've done now, didn't read the whole heading :) Thanks...

This is similar to the other thread, why only if a TT? The RCD will still trip at 1667 ohms whatever type of supply it is, therefore this should still be the maximum value. Or the max allowable Ze (0.35/0.8) + (R1+R2). Personally I always record the max Zs for the MCB part. To me if you look at the cert and the measured Zs is higher that the breaker max Zs then you would look at further figures on the cert to see if its covered by an RCD.

Which Regulation states that an RCD cannot be used to meet disconnection times on a TN system?
