Hi All, Does any body know exactly what a typical fully auto MDF interior doors production line consist of what machines?, knowing that raw material is MDF boards !.
Quite possibly a cnc saw as well (to cut the basic door out of the raw mdf) Used to use one when I worked for a shopfitting company. Loaded in a list of which size pieces were needed and how many, plus the size of the mdf boards and it worked out the most efficient cuts. Of course you had to take each cut out and turn them 90 degrees, but the computer told which pieces to put in for the 90 deg cuts. The saw could cut up to 6 sheets at a time (stacked) . The CNC Router we used, had a vacuum bed to hold the workpiece down whilst the router head made it's various passes with each tool. (yep automatically selected the bit to use too) Amazing stuff.
