Not quite sure, I thought it was an innocent post personally, I was genuinely wondering what people's opinion on the subject were. Hopefully administration will let me know why it was deleted.
With what's a huge part of the news at the moment I thought it was a good topic! Its being discussed on forums all over! Why is it not allowed on here?
The Syrian thread? I only saw a couple of replies on there, and nothing contentious. But I suspect that someone came along with a pair of bigoted size 12 boots and stuck them in... SF doesn't pull threads for no good reason. Discussions on Islam and religion in general doesn't automatically trigger a 'pull' either, unless it becomes 'silly'.
My post wasn't malicious or meant to provoke any racism etc, I was genuinely wondering what the people were thinking on the matter. It's such a big part of the news at the minute and for so long we have been able to be ignorant about the situation and look the other way and say it's not our problem, but now as the weeks go on its becoming more and more our problem and one that will affect us and more so our kids in the future.
Absolutely, and I doubt very much it was your post that caused it to be pulled. And it's a perfectly valid topic.
I I think they should just pull the individual post which is offensive or vialates their codes, and not pull a perfectly debateable thread.
All this spam today & yesterday is getting beyond a joke, surely the mods can ban these members & batten down the hatches a bit tighter.
Make them go away Pete not here he hasn't been here since Saturday morning. Who looks after the place when he is on holiday?
