Anyone know of a good moss killer remover, we are scraping from roof but I also want use a spray/wash to kill off remaining and also on the pavers.
For Pavers, Karcher pressure washer has it off straight away, worth the money they are. Roof tiles, steel wire brush or flap disk/wire brush on 4" angle grinder(be very gentle). As for good liquid moss killers, Jeyes fluid or Everbuild Moss Away are both equally good.
Jeyes fulid in no longer any good for killing moss, they changed the recipe in 2003 to complie with EC Regulations. Simply Spray & Walk Away is great for moss, as is Everbuild moss Away.
Did they? I never knew that. I got about 50 bottles from a wholesaler when they did a bulk discount, and am only 2/3 of the way though. This was many years ago, and defiantly before 03. Making me feel old again
I also have moss on my tiles, I spoke to a few people about it and the consensus was to leave it alone. Trying to get the stuff off would likely damage the tiles.
More than once seen damage where someone has been more than enthusiastic with their Karcher on the roof. Finished the job to come indoors and find their attic/bedroom nice and stained - at least check you have good roofing felt before doing it
