Hi all, I have a slate flat door sign which i would like to mount to the wall at the front - however the wall isn't flat at all. Please can someone suggest the best way to mount it on this wall? Drilling and plugging is fine but on the one side you'll see the screw and the sign won't be flush (to be expected) Is there a good way to mount signs on walls like this? (slightly floating for example?) Cheers for any help, Russ
A bit unorthodox, but I would put a chrome tube sleeve over the screws, behind the sign, about half inch long or thereabouts to even out the discrepancy of the riven stone. You don't see the thread of the screws, and look at getting chrome caps to fit over the head of the screws to match.
As above or try and find a flatish piece and get it fixed. Then pack behind it with cement which can be coloured later on
