So put all the pipe work in and had a Gas man to come round and help me put boiler on. He is back next week to flush old system out and connect on to the new boiler. Ps that's not the gas man in the picture.
And the purpose of your post is....? Apart from showing you use too much solder in your joints and haven't got a heat mat! But not bad for diy, seen much much worse. Provided those joints hold of course
What boiler is this? I'm trying to figure out where the condensate pipe work is. Also the cold water in, the drain cock is open.
Seeing as you have fitted a TF1 Compact I assume that you have less than seven radiators in your house. Not a bad DIY job but as GIF says too much solder, shame about the scorch marks and clipping looks poor, they should be uniform.
Why is the compact only suitable for 7 radiators. Flow and spec is same as other model just a more compact unit. Or have I miss read something?
The soldering might be a bit untidy but, when I moved to this house the pipework on the boiler was like that and it was done by a local plumber of 30 odd years. Actually I'd go as far as saying it was worse with a big burn on the cylinder and nearby woodwork.
Don't claim to be a plumber and should of got a heat Matt. But had one leak on the whole system and the Gas safe engineer was more than happy with the work and signed it off. So I'm happy enough. Seen worse by "proper plumbers"
