Planning on getting a new extension added onto the side of the house, what floor should I go for wood or concrete?
    Thanks

Concrete then insulation then screed. You cna have under floor heating too with this method.

However if you have to make up the ground level more than 600mm - you will have to go for a suspended floor. This can either be wood or block and beam.
