The reply from sparky The alignment of the front shoe, has no affect on the depth of cut. Wonder what quality control they have, as KIAB points out in the video, the plate is aligned on the demo. My first and last purchase of sparky tools
Not according to Sparky........... QUOTE The rebate facility has nothing what so ever to do with the moveable base plate on a planer. May we respectfully suggest that if for any reason you are not happy with your purchase, you should be talking to the retailer who sold you the item, we can only advise you as to the units manufactured standards and its capability under normal use. The machine like most Planers is designed to remove stock from timber/wood in maximum passes of 2mm.
Hi KIAB I agree, the authorised repair centre that I was referred to can't see the problem, and have shown a lack of interest in helping me. Will return and stay clear of sparky products in the future. Thanks for your input Paul
Grab it,a bargain at that price. http://www.bosch-professional.com/za/en/planer-gho-15-82-227129-0601594003.html And if your over 60, or have a relative over 60, you can apply for B&Q Club Diamond membership in store and you’ll get an extra 10% off every Wednesday.
That's a shame, bit too far to travel I will keep a look out just in case something comes along nr to home. Thank all the same
I decided to go for the bosch gho-26-82. What a load of tat the sparky is in comparison and the bosch only cost £25 more. Full refund on the sparky, well pleased.
