About two years ago, we had a pitched roofed porch built on the front of the house. At the time we didn't consider having a radiator installed. Now we wish we had. Your advice is sought on the following. To tee off the main heating pipes under the floor boards of the front bedroom ( overlooking the porch ). To drill through the outer wall of the original building, and run the pipes ( possibly in flexible ) into the loft space of the porch. Then drop down through the ceiling to the rad. The porch is approx. 2.2mtrs x 1.6mtrs. Any advice will be gratefully accepted. Especially as regards drilling through the outer wall, and the type of radiator that would be best. Thank's in advance.
Run 10mm hep or poly in a chase to be skimmed over, through the porch roof void together in 22-19 lagging, sleeve through cavity wall & onto f&r, as for size it's not a habitable space so how hot ya want it's recovery to be with air changes, small porch id go 6hx4l with TRV
