Hi Kate - I think these are re-badged "WAGO" connectors. They work well as far as cable gripping and protection is concerned,but there is a problem for general use. Many cable jointing jobs require the cables to be "in-line" i.e. the two cables two be joined are in a straight line through the joint. With these connectors the two cables enter together on one side, meaning that after joining, one cable has to be bent around 180 degrees to continue the run. I asked WAGO about this and they said they are working on it! Hope this is helpful. Regards diymostthings
