Not enough plaster for 2nd coat!

    So, what did you do, and how did it go?

    I waited a couple of days, PVA'd then re-plastered. Luckily this mistake happened whilst I was doing the spare room, so no huge drama, but I do find ceilings much harder than walls for some reason - the edges where the ceiling meets the walls look **** compared to the wall-wall corners.

    You get what you pay for in the end!

    Try using a plastic trowel for ceilings, I got given a Refina PlaziFlex SuperFlex Skimming Trowel,available in various sizes, far superior to metal trowels, can't cut yourself:rolleyes:, better finish, lighter to use skimming and finishing, trowelling up. etc.

    A plastic spray bottle & a plazi, makes ceiling, walls easy to acheive a perfect finish.
