[IMG] I am about to try my hand at building 'slip covers' for my babies cot. The instructions call for 6mm birch veneer plywood, however it's out of my price range. Can I use wbp instead?

Not sure what a "slip cover" is but WPB simply means it is an external grade of ply.
Birch will have been spec'ed because it is an attractive and strong ply that doesn't splinter easily.
If you used far eastern hardwood ply and your baby got a splinter it would almost certainly become septic.
£17 for FE or £27 for birch.
    Your call.
