been asked to price to install a sewerage treatment plant. All fine however the fall from outlet of the tank to the watercourse is about 3 meters over the space of only 15m, do you guys think falling that much is unacceptable? My thoughts are that the water coming from the treatment plant is already treated so the size of fall is irrelevant? What's your thoughts?

I would say, "If all solids are now in liquid form then the fall should be ok, yes there will be some silt like substance, but it should wash away ok"

I agree with Phil, should be ok.

In Scotland, they now prefer you to discharge treated water into a man made reed bed or wetland area, which is becoming a more popular idea in England, for secondary treatment, compared to discharging into a water course which is considered old fashion now,& probably will be illegal before much longer.
