Following on from another question i asked, my extension is being built around a existing drive slab, inspector has said i can keep it in place but i only have 150mm to play with to inside floor level.

I dont see how i can leave it in if i need a insulation, slab and screed ontop,

i want to have a laminate wood finish,

If slab is in good shape you just leave it, put down DPM, 75 celotex and 75 screed.

Pretty much as Stevie22 says. Put a DPM on top of the slab first...very important, then 20mm celotex around edges against wall to prevent thermal bridging, celotex on floor, best to put another DPM on top of celotex, then put your screed on. Leave screed a few mm lower than exsisting house floor level so you can put on a layer of self levelling compound to get the floor nice and flat.
